For this excursion you will leave Marrakech to Agadir at about 7am for a 2.5hr drive. After your  arrival, you will be able to start your tour with a visit of the city in order to discover its local market where various products are exposed such as Argan oil. You will also be able to explore the port of Agadir, which is the largest port in Morocco, and its fish market.

After, you will continue the tour by going to the Kasbah Agadir Oufella former palace, which was built during the 16th century by King Mohammad Achaikh of the Saadian dynasty. This charming place will offer you a perfect panoramic view of the harbor and the new city of Agadir, which was built after the 1960’s earthquake.

After this you will be led through various areas of the city where you will be able to stop to discover the biggest mosque of the area: the Mohamed V Mosque.

In the afternoon, depending on your personal preferences, you will be able to escape in the sea on a boat that will take you to the heart of the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying drinks that you will be offered (additional 380 DH per person)

What People Say

Agadir is so different to Marrakech, we really enjoyed taking this day tour. Our guide was really helpful in explaining all about the history of Agadir and knowledgable on all the sites we visited. Lunch was absolutely delicious and we also had a bit of free time to wonder around and stay by the beach. Definitely take the boat trip! Nothing beats drinks on a boat while cruising around in the afternoon. I would really recommend this tour, especially if you'd like a bit of a change from Marrakech.
